The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel Comedy Drama Movie 5 Stars Worthy

Today, I wanted to review "The best exotic marigold hotel". I want to review the movie, not the hotel. A few weeks ago, I got around to watching the movie. I mostly liked it because it had my two favorite actresses. The first one is Judi Dench, the boss of James Bond. In this movie, she played a newly widowed woman. The second actress that I liked is Maggie Smith, from like a billion movies that I have watched. In this movie, she played an ex housekeeper that was fired after she trained her replacement.

Life and Death in Hinduism and Buddhist

Buddhism and Hinduism have very similar concepts of birth and death. They only differ on the nature of the soul and what happens at the moment of liberation. The thing that unites both conceptions is karma. Both religions seem to think that both good and bad action keeps one in the cycle of Samsara. In both, if one performs a good action it leads to a rebirth in a higher status. A bad action leads to a rebirth a lower form, such as a monkey or a bug. The method of escaping samsara is also different for both religions.

The Eyes of my Brother, Forever by Stefan Zweig Book Review

Early in the 1900s, traveling was pretty popular. Stefan Zweig visited India during this time period. He liked the civilization, but was appalled at the stratification of social classes. Only in India was the caste system grotesquely  visible. This novella is set in ancient India. Zweig spend many months in India and got to know their history pretty well. The main character is Virata. He is from the warrior caste. At the start of the book, Virata slays his brother without knowing it. His brother had betrayed the king. Thus, it was Virata's duty to slay them.  This event scars him for life. He becomes concerned about doing justice to everyone. Whenever he felt himself being unjust to someone, he saw in their face the eyes of his undying brother.

Amok by Stefan Zweig

They say that you meet interesting people on cruise ships. This modernist story proves it. The main character goes on a third class cruise. After struggling to sleep under the gentle hum of the ventilator bat, he goes up deck and meets a mysterious smoker. Under the dim light of the twinkling stars, our main character hears a gruesome tale of love and repressed desires.
