Adrian Borda traditional artist DA 5 Stars worthy

Adrian Borda traditional artist DA 5 Stars worthy

Today, I wanted to review three lovely paintings by Adrian Borda. He is a traditional artist that features his artwork in DeviantArt. Now, let us review "She Had Flowers in her Hair". This painting was inspired by Gustave Klimt's "The Kiss". Like "The Kiss", we see a guy who wants to kiss his maiden. Unlike Klimt's painting, the maiden's face is more expressive. She also seems to be dying. Judging by the title, Borda speaks of the maiden in the past tense. She is dying in a beautiful fashion. As for the decoration, it is painted Art Nouveau style. Art Nouveau is all about the decorative art and pattern. It mostly exploits organic lines typical of Gothic art. As such, we have this cute painting. In any case, Borda's lovely painting deserves 5 stars rating.

Today, I felt like featuring 10 amassing anime wallpapers. All these anime characters are original. They were not based on anyone in particular. Most of the mangaka artist featured in this blog are from pixiv. The others are unknown. Now, let us get this show in the road. The first anime wallpaper is the handiwork of Amo of pixiv. Here he featured a strange anime couple. One is a school anime girl. She is beneath an umbrella. Beside her, there is an anime guy wearing a gas mask. It is snowing, even inside the bus. She seems to be asking the viewer to get closer. Methinks they are creepy ghost. Beside her, I see a poster of Madame Butterfly. It is a classical Chinese tragedy of sorts. Truly, this wonderful anime wallpaper is 5 stars worthy.

This is the last Jose Royo blog. The first painting is called "lady with a fan". The pretty maiden has a fan with a peacock painted on it. As usual, the maiden is averting her gaze from the viewer. It adds a bit of mystery to this painting. The rose garden in the background is a lovely detail. The colors in this painting are 5 stars worthy.

Sleeping Beauty Disney Movie Review

Sleeping Beauty Disney Movie Review

Once again, Disney did a movie about a Brother's Grimm Tales. Like in the book, a childless couple of monarchs finally gave birth to a princess, name Aurora. At her birth, they engaged her to Prince Philip. This assured the prosperity of both kingdoms. At the party of her Baptism, they invited everyone to the party. Also attending the party were three fairies. In the original book, they had invited 12 fairies. They stood for the 12 apostles. Originally, these fairies had to eat only from golden silverware. However, they did not have a set for the 12th fairy. Thus, they painted golden the plates of the 12th fairy. This fairy stood for Judas. Like Judas, Maleficent instead of blessing Aurora, she cursed her.

The Wonderful Lady Portraits of Jose Royo, the Modern Day Impressionist Artist

As it happens, whenever I get bored of rating popular culture, I rate some paintings. Today, I wanted to feature the artwork of Jose Royo. He is a Spanish Impressionist artist. He is still alive and painting well. I think he has about 150 something paintings. From his work, I found that ,at least, 46 of his paintings were 5 stars worthy. Thus, here we have the first batch of 5 stars worthy Impressionistic paintings.

Before I rate these paintings I want to explain Impressionism. Impressionism is the study of light and its effect on colors. All that matter is that the paintings look shinny and they give you the flashing impression of something or someone. The first painting shows two cute ladies. One has a song book, while the other has a guitar. The light falling upon the maidens gives them a lovely rosy warm color. Both cuties, of Jose Royo deserve 5 stars rating.

Teresita Blanco Poems : Let Down Your Guard, 2 Fragments, and Mirror

The first poems is Let Down your Guard. The poem is about someone who is always on the defense. That person must lower his guard. He will not come to harm. The two fragments are peachy. Nothing too far out there. The last poems is another one of those "Look Past the Mirror" poems. This one I wrote a day I thought the Wizard was a demon. My brother has always very convincing argument. Its disgusting! However, I am getting better at not letting him influence me. In any case, these four poems of mine deserves 5 stars rating.

Alice in Wonderland 5 star Worthy Disney Movie

Alice in Wonderland 5 star Worthy Disney Movie

Alice in Wonderland is based on a book written by this guy whose name alludes me. When I was in school I read both books. You know, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Both books were a satire to the monarchy and the Upper class of England. Heck, the Queen of Hearts was a satire of Queen Elizabeth. She acted nice, but had a fiery temper. The book itself simply described things. It had no dialogues. Everything was just one very long narration. Plus, it looked as if it was written by someone flying high. Its a major wonder how Alice in Wonderland came to be considered a children's book.

Short Poems: Fragment, Grave, Hipno, Dance and Nameless by Teresita Blanco

Following, I wrote a few short poems. The Fragment is just a fragment. Grave is about being buried alive. Hipno is a spell for causing nightmares. Dance is about the grim reaper. Lastly, Nameless is about a demon without a name. These new poems of mine deserve 5 stars rating.

Twenty Four Hours in the Life of a Woman by Stefan Zweig Novella Review

Twenty Four Hours in the Life of a Woman by Stefan Zweig Novella Review

This novella was actually made into a movie. It was just that good. Well, any novella of Stefan Zweig's is short enough to fit into an 120 minute motion picture. In any case, the novel starts with a man receiving a letter. In this letter, lies the love confession of a woman. He does not remember her, but she remembers him. Ever since they parted, she has been sending him white roses. In their only night together, he gave her a white rose. Thus, she sent him the flowers with the vain hopes that he would remember her. The story goes from when she first met him as a child to the last time they saw each other. This novella ends pretty sadly. Then again, by now you should expect bad endings from Stefan Zweig. If you ask me, happy endings are over rated. For this reason, this love novella deserves 5 star rating.

John William Waterhouse of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood Part 5: Miscellaneous

Well, this one is just to stuff the seven that I forgot to rate. Ok, the first one is a study for the rosebuds painting. You can see the idea starting to take shape. We have yet to see the stained glass window. Originally, the maiden was going to have the flowers like a bouquet. I guess the basin worked better. In any case, this painting of Waterhouse deserves 5 star rating.
